Dermal Fillers

  • Lip Filler

Lips are a focal feature of the face hence, lip fillers becoming hugely popular over recent years (with a little help from one very famous celeb). Using dermal fillers you can enhance the fullness of the lips, correct shape, create more definition to areas such as the cupids bow, and reduce the appearance of surrounding fine lines caused by ageing. This treatment usually lasts up to 6 months.

  • Cheek Filler

With the natural ageing process, we lose volume in our face creating a sagging or sunken look. Dermal filler can be used in two ways; firstly to replace the volume loss in the cheeks and create lift to reduce that sunken appearance, and secondly to create an appearance of high cheekbones giving a contoured more defined appearance to the face. This treatment usually lasts 12-18 months.

  • Nasolabial Folds

Often referred to as smile lines, the deep crease running from the corners of the nose to the edges of the mouth becomes deeper with ageing and volume loss. Dermal filler can be used to correct or soften these lines creating a smoother appearance to the skin and rejuvenating the face. This treatment usually lasts up to 12 months.

  • Marionette Lines

The lines that run from the corners of the mouth to the chin are more pronounced as we age and can make you appear to have a down-turned mouth or permanent frown. Dermal fillers can help to correct or reduce the appearance of these lines, taking away that “sad” look. This treatment can last up to 12 months.

  • Hand Rejuvenation

Our hands are always hard at work and unfortunately as we age, the appearance of tendons, bony structures and veins can start to show. By restoring the volume to the hands using dermal filler a softer, younger look can be achieved. This treatment usually lasts up to 12 months.

  • Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

With the nose being in the centre of the face irregularities can be very noticeable and it is often thought that a painful surgical procedure is the only option to correct this. Dermal fillers are a safe and effective alternative using a non-invasive technique to help improve the shape and appearance of the nose without the need for recovery time. This treatment usually lasts up to 12 months.

  • Jaw Line Filler

Dermal filler can be used in a number of ways around the jaw line to create definition to the face. Whether you want to reduce the appearance of jowls, strengthen a weaker jaw line or soften a harsh jaw line, dermal fillers can rejuvenate and create the facial profile you are looking for. This treatment usually lasts up to 18 months.

  • Chin Filler

Your facial profile is greatly affected by the shape of your chin. Using dermal filler you can lengthen the chin, restore lost volume reducing the appearance of jowls and create definition with strategically placed injections to enhance a more feminine or masculine appearance. This treatment usually lasts up to 12 months.

  • Tear Trough Filler

Dark circles and sunken areas under the eyes can make you appear aged and tired. Dermal filler can be used to restore volume to the hollows of the eyes revitalising and refreshing your appearance. This treatment usually lasts up to 9 months.

  • Frown Line Filler

Frown lines are the vertical lines between the eyebrows and there are several ways these can be treated. Whilst anti-wrinkle treatments work great for most clients, those with permanent static lines, visible even at rest, dermal filler can be a great option to help soften the appearance and rejuvenate the face. This treatment lasts approximately 12-18 months when used in conjunction with antiwrinkle treatments.

  • Forehead Filler

Whether you have hereditary volume loss, heaviness in the brow area, or static horizontal lines across the forehead, dermal filler can be used to replace volume where needed creating a smoother appearance and softening fine lines. This treatment lasts approximately 12-18 months when used in conjunction with anti-wrinkle treatments.

  • Temple Filler

Hollowing at the temple region can be a tell-tale sign of ageing and can give a skeletal appearance to the face. Replacing lost volume can create a smoother transition to the outline of the face and can often result in a slight lift in the brow, opening the eyes for a brighter look. This treatment lasts approximately 18 months.

  • Filler Brow Lift

A subtle lift in the lateral brow can make a real difference to the framing of the face. Dermal filler can be used to enhance the arch of the brow and open the lateral eye area for a fresher appearance. For best results, this treatment can be used in conjunction with regular anti-wrinkle treatments. The brow filler lasts approximately 18 months.

  • Filler Dissolving

There are occasions when you might want to remove your hyaluronic acid fillers either because you are unhappy with how they look, or the filler has migrated outside of the intended area. Hyaluronidase can be used to inject into the area of filler to encourage it to break down and be metabolised. If desired the area can be refilled 2 weeks after dissolving.

FAQs

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels used to plump lips, soften facial lines, restore volume and revitalise the face.

The clear gel product contains a synthetic Hyaluronic Acid which is injected under the surface of the skin to add volume and hydration, softening lines and signs of ageing. As hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by our bodies, it is biodegradable and will naturally break down over a period of time.

How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

The dermal filler used for your treatment will vary on the area being treated. Dermal fillers are broken down naturally by the body so each individual will metabolise the products at different rates. Generally, softer fillers used for areas such as lips can last up to six months whereas thicker consistencies used for areas such as cheek augmentation can last up to 18 months. Further information can be found under the specific treatment.

Are The Treatments Painful?

Dermal filler treatments are administered via injections, and may cause you some temporary discomfort. A cream is often used to assist in numbing the area prior to your treatment, and our high quality products combine a local anaesthetic with the hyaluronic acid for comfort during your procedure.

Can Anybody Have Dermal Fillers Treatments?

Dermal fillers are generally considered safe. However, you may not be able to have your treatment if you have broken or inflamed skin near the site of injection, a known allergy or sensitivity to the product or any of its ingredients, a condition which causes raised or excessive scarring or are pregnant or breastfeeding. You will have a consultation prior to your treatment at which time any concerns can be discussed.

Will I Need Time To Recover?

The beauty of non-surgical treatments such as dermal filler is the lack of recovery time required. Many clients experience minimal swelling and little to no bruising post treatment and are able to go about their daily activities as normal.
